Karnataka: Right wing activist arrested for WhatsApp post depicting Muslim women as baby making factories

Raju Tambak, a Hindu right-wing activist, has been apprehended by the Raichur police following the dissemination of his controversial WhatsApp post, which depicted Muslim women in a derogatory manner, likening them to “baby-making factories.” The post quickly gained traction on social media, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation.

In response to the offensive content, community members rallied together and staged a protest outside the Lingsur police station last night. The demonstrators demanded swift and decisive action against Tambak for his inflammatory remarks, calling for justice and accountability.

Police officials arrested Tambak. Subsequently, he has been placed in judicial custody pending further legal proceedings.
